Goods Story: Sort Puzzle is a casual sorting puzzle game from LinkDesks Classic Puzzle Games. It falls into the same relaxing category as other sort-and-match titles, where you move items around until everything is neatly organized. The game is built for mobile, so you can grab it on Android through Google Play or on iOS via the App Store. It is a pure mobile title, meaning there is no Steam version for PC and no Xbox or Switch release to worry about. It first launched in 2023 and has since passed 1 million installs on Google Play alone, which says a lot for a smaller studio. The best part for anyone on the fence is that the download is free. You can install it, play through the early levels, and not spend a cent. That said, it does run in-app ads, and there is a shop for in-game purchases. The purchases are mostly coin packs and ad removers, and the prices are pretty low, usually a couple of dollars up to around ten bucks for the bigger bundles. Nothing here feels like a wallet trap, which I appreciate.

Playing Goods Story is simple. You tap items to move them between shelves or boxes, and the goal is to sort matching goods together. Each level gives you a limited number of slots, so you have to think a step or two ahead before you move anything. The early levels are gentle, and then the difficulty creeps up in a way that keeps you engaged without making you rage quit. What I enjoy most is the pacing. It is the kind of game I can pick up for five minutes while waiting for coffee, or sit with for half an hour when I want to unwind. The art is bright and the goods are drawn with enough detail that sorting them feels satisfying. There is no timer pressure in most modes, so you can take your time. My favorite part is honestly the little pop sound and animation when a group is fully sorted. It is a small thing, but it makes the loop feel rewarding.

If you have played Sort It 3D or Goods Sort, you will recognize the formula right away. Those games are fine, but Goods Story feels a bit more polished in the visuals and less aggressive with the ads. In Goods Sort, I often hit an ad after every other level, and that gets old fast. Here the ad breaks are there but they do not interrupt the flow as much, and the levels feel more thoughtfully designed. I also like that the game does not shove a battle pass or a dozen pop-ups in your face on launch. It is a straightforward puzzle game that respects your time. If you are looking for a calm sorting game on Android and you want one that will not nag you constantly, this is an easy recommendation over the busier alternatives.

Features

  • No timer pressure in most levels ⏳ You can sit and think without a clock ticking down, which makes it way more relaxing than timed sorters.
  • Clean, colorful item art 🎨 The goods are easy to tell apart at a glance, so you are not squinting at blurry icons like in some cheaper puzzle apps.
  • Light ad load compared to rivals 📺 Unlike Goods Sort, which throws ads at you constantly, this one keeps the interruptions more spaced out.
  • Small, optional purchases 💰 Coin packs and the ad remover are cheap, and you can finish plenty of levels without buying anything.

Pros

  • Relaxing pace 🧘 No timers in most modes means you can play at your own speed, which beats the frantic feel of Sort It 3D.
  • Fair free experience 🎁 The download is free and the ads are not overwhelming, so you get a real game without paying upfront.
  • Polished look ✨ The art and animations are a step above Goods Sort, and the sorting feedback feels satisfying.
  • Easy to learn 👌 The tap-to-move controls are obvious from the first level, so anyone can jump in.

Cons

  • Ads still show up 📢 Even with the lighter load, you will see ads between levels unless you pay for the remover.
  • Difficulty spikes 😤 A few mid-game levels jump in difficulty fast compared to the gentle early ones, which can stall you.
  • Limited variety 🔁 The core loop stays the same, and after a while it can feel repetitive next to games like Goods Sort that add extra modes.
